Inkwell sells digital goods (comics) and subscriptions (Inkwell Pro). This policy sets the ordinary refund rules. Statutory rights in your country may give you additional protections that override this policy.
1. Comic Purchases
Because comics are digital goods delivered immediately, purchases are generally final and non-refundable once you have opened the issue.
We will consider a refund if:
- The comic fails to load or is materially incomplete due to a bug on our side.
- The comic materially misrepresents what was listed on the storefront.
- You have not yet opened the issue and request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
2. Inkwell Pro Subscriptions
You can cancel Inkwell Pro at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial months or unused time except where required by law (for example, the 14-day EU right of withdrawal, provided you have not used Pro-gated features during that window).
3. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank — most issues can be resolved directly and much faster. Chargebacks may result in loss of access to the disputed purchase and any related account privileges.
4. How to Request a Refund
Email hello@inkwell.example with your order ID and a brief description of the issue. We aim to reply within 3 business days.
5. Creator Payouts
Refunds issued to buyers are deducted from the corresponding creator's earnings. Platform fees on refunded orders are returned in full.
